Nowdays, the internet becomes more and more essential to our life, in another words, people rely on internet more than we can imagin. Internet serves as a great tool to help us in different fields, the function of the internet can be classified into three categories which are study, entertainment and communication. Since the internet has a unbelievable database, we can find most of the information we want online readily. For instance, if I want to know today's weather, I can just put weather report on the tool bar and google it, then the powerful internet will give me the result. If I am interested in what roman literatures are, I believe there are a great number of websites related to my topic. Internet can also be used as a kind of entertainment, I can read some relaxing stories or watch some movies and sports online, After I've been working for entire day, it's a good way to relax yourself in front of a computer(internet connected). Communication also plays an important role of the internet, with internet, we can talk to people who are all around the world, we might meet various kind of people who have different background. And I am sure that has a lot of fun.
From what we have disscused above, we can draw a conclusion that study, entertainment, communication are the main functions of the internet.
