Why is it that I couldn't(*) forget him.
Why is it that my heart still wants to love you continuously?
(*) "could" 用在疑问句中并不表示过去时,而是表示现在时,此时语气比较委婉,
当使用 "could not" 时, 特别强调 "not", 因此使用 couldn't 就恰当地配合了
句子的原意.

forget = 忘记。
heart = 心
continue = 继续
所以：
为什么我不能忘记他？
Why I still cannot forget him?
为什么我的信还要继续爱你？
Why I will still continue to love you by heart?
