I am LiHua, a student of Grade 3 in our Senior High School. I have some problems puzzled me for several weeks, so I am writing to you, our psychological counseling teacher, for some help and advice.
Since the new term began, I have been feeling great pressure from study. This is the last year of my middle school, and I am going to take the entrance exams of university next year. The lessons seem to be more difficult than before and I find myself unable to catch up with my teacher at class. I have a lot of problems to solve, but I am a bit hesitate to ask my teacher or my classmates because I am afraid they will laugh at me. So I just try to think them over by myselft, but I can not find the answer. I feel very distressed, anxious and worried. I cannot eat well or sleep well. Last night I tried to figure out a new plan for my study, but only to get a mess because I don't know how to tackle with all the problems in study. I was sleepless the whole night. This is not the first time of my insomnia. I tried to get some medicine but I am worried that I might get addicted to it.
