Objective: Practice traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions in which the investigation, in analysis outpatient service prescription whether reasonable medication and common writing errors situation, thus instructs clinical to apply drugs reasonably and to enhance the prescription the written quality.
Methods: Myself carry on the collection to this courtyard December, 2011 to January's, 2012 all traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions, again the draw an item at random 500 prescriptions according to "Hospital Prescription Standard" and "the Prescription Policing method (Implementation)" as well as the related reasonable medication principle, carries on the statistics and the analysis.
Results: Unreasonable prescriptions a total of 56, accounts for the total prescription quantity 11.2%. And the prescription writing error has 4.2%, the unreasonable medication's prescription has 7%. The prescription writing error mainly includes: General project lack of writing, the name of the drug is not standardized, and Dosage and lack of written or non-standard, specifications of medicines lack of write or wrong, wrong dosage form, or lack of written. The unreasonable medication mainly includes: diagnosis and medication does not match, the improper drug compatibility, and choice of formulations and routes of administration unreasonable, repeated dosing over a course of treatment and drug overdose.
Conclusion: The traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions use basic reasonable, but also exist deficiencies, should strengthen the traditional Chinese medicine management, and to further improve the level of the reasonable application of the traditional Chinese medicine.
