Eastern China will see pleasant weather for the most part as dry air maintains its hold on the region. A few clouds are possible throughout Northeastern China and the Korean Peninsula as a dry cold front passes through the region. Beijing can expect high temperatures in the upper 70s(F)/ mid-20s(C), while Shanghai can expect slightly cooler temperatures in the mid-70s(F)/ mid-20s(C). In Southern Asia, showers and storms will continue across Southeast Asia and Southwestern India. In the Southern Hemisphere, high pressure will recede off the southeastern coast of Australia on Saturday as a cold front pushes through Tasmania and Victoria. As this front approaches, clouds will increase through the region, and light showers are likely. A storm to the southeast of Tasmania will continue to approach New Zealand throughout the day, bringing rain and winds to the nation by late evening. Melbourne should see high temperatures in the mid-70s(F)/ mid-20s(C) while Auckland will be cool with highs in the upper 50s(F)/ mid teens(C).
