It provides not only online news service but also relatively comprehensive funtions of searching and retrieving of its contents, and it has become a headquarter for news and forum service in Jinzhou area.

The dawning of this website was coincidentally within the consistant trends of online news medias turnning main tream medias, but since it has a online media form with traditional meida background,it has unparalleled advatages over online medias without that background. However, at the same time, we should clearly realize that it is confronted with major challenges. We should never be optimistic about its future survival since it is surouded by the siege of traditional medias such as news papers and other large-scale web portals represented by Sina and Sohu. Focucing on the advantages and disadvantages of the website Golden Leopard, we compare it vertically and horizontally with traditional media represented by news papers and online news medias of other forms to illustrate its future development.
