bet的基本意思是“打赌”,指打赌的行为或动作。用法如下:

1、bet的宾语可以是一个(所赌之物或打赌的对象),也可以是两个(一个间接宾语,一个直接宾语),还可以是三个(一个间接宾语,两个直接宾语),在形式上则可以是名词、代词,也可以是从句。

2、bet常可接间接引语意为“打赌说”,全句常具有挑战意味,口语中常说I bet...,省略that而直接接从句,强调深信不疑,一般译为“我敢打赌”。

3、bet的宾语从句中谓语动词通常使用一般现在时表示将来时间(当然也可使用一般将来时)。

4、bet的过去式和过去分词均为原形bet,偶尔也作betted。bet用在具体的事情上,而betted不常用,偶尔用在泛指的事情上,特别是用作不及物动词时。
