Changsha red tourism has obvious government dominant characteristics, but along with the Chinese market economy, has gradually formed its own industrial chain. In order to create a profound understanding of Changsha red tourism industry, and the future development trends is macroscopical hold, this thesis adopts foreign advanced theories of Nation Competitiveness -- on the influence of Potter's diamond model, Changsha red tourism are six important factors to logical analysis, combined with relevant data and the specific examples of the demonstration method for competitive analysis. The Changsha City red tourism competitiveness analysis, found that there are three main important factors restrict the Changsha City red tourism competitiveness, they are the red tourism resources development and utilization, red tourism industry cluster optimization problem, and the red tourism brand marketing and market development. Aiming at these problems, this paper put forward to further improve the Changsha City Red Tourism Competitive Strategy: first, a clear strategic positioning, to achieve full competition; second, red tourism industrial structure optimization and upgrading; third, developing red tourism core competence.
