.请问这句话的pretend是doing和to do都可以吗？不是pretend to do吗

he pretend not knowing it at all.和he pretend not to know it at all.这两句话的表达都是对的?pretend后面不是跟不定式吗，为什么能接动名词呢？还有这里是不是动名词和不定式作宾语？

pretend的用法如下：
pretend to do sth，表示假装要做...（将来式）
pretend to be doing sth，假装正在做...
（正在进行式）
pretend to have done sth，假装已经做过...（完成式）
pretend +that引导宾语从句
此处是做宾语，但“pretend doing ”没有这种搭配
