[语法]句子+逗号+AND+句子和句子+逗号+句子有什么区别

Question

There were fifty people in the village, the old included.= There were fifty people in the village, and the old were included.

It was fine, and we went out for a picnic=It being fine, we went out for a picnic.

这两句话意思相同。。为什么有的句子有And有的句子不用而时态变了呢？

句子+逗号+AND+句子

最简单的：My name is WangHua, and your name（yours）?

这里其实就是个停顿，接着上面的意思。

还有同两个句子之间用AND连接比较口语，有时是习惯。看英文电影经常可以同到“and……and”，其实就是停顿。

句子+逗号+句子

多用在书面语，就是表示两个句子是一句话，或者由一点发出的句字。

区别不是很大，意思很相近，都表示连接前后两个句子的作用，只是加上And后更连贯一些

My name is John, and I am from Wuhan.（我叫约翰，而且我来自武汉）
