It's two years since I worked here

我知道如果把worked换成smoked就是说我已经戒烟2年了
但smoke是非延续性动词 而work是延续性动词
所以想问一下题目这个句子到底是什么意思？现在还在工作吗？还是已经有2年没在这儿工作了？
