这里的that为什么不能省？为什么不能说in the days followed
我也是觉得可以省的。 但是书上的是一道改错题 ：in the day followed。答案就是在followed前加that.它说that不能省。

原句用的是过去式的主动语态，所以不能是in the days followed.

也可以说成是 in the following day, following 为形容词.
