break up可以指抽象的分裂也可以指具体意义上的分裂，例如：The party has broken up into several splinter groups.（该党已分裂成几大派别） 而 Break down则指把（化合物等具体的事物）分解，例如：To break down a beef into basis cuts.(把牛肉畜体分解成几大块）
