答案是C。为什么别的不能选？罗列一下知识点。

解释：
1. 如果选A，则使用too...to...句型。
但是句子主语the museum其实是to后面arrive at的宾语，这样it就重复多余了。
2. 没有so...to do sth结构，可以说成so...as to do sth结构。
3. 如果选D，则使用so...that...句型。
这样后面的that是一个结果状语从句，而状语从句是不能缺少成分的。
但是题中的arrive at后面又缺少一个宾语it了。

另：too...to...，enough...to...，so...that....，so...as to...还有such...that之间经常可以转换句型，但是要注意简单句和复合句的成分不要缺少或重复问题。
如：The mountain is too high for me to climb.
= The mountain isn't low enough for me to climb.
= The montain is so high that I can't climb it.
= It is so high a mountain that I can't climb it.
= It is such a high mountain that I can't climb it.
