Capital economic growth leads to globalization which is inevitable unless u want China quits the global market ,i believe the world in the future is a place where no specific boundary between nations ethics and culture.maybe in the future it would be laughed at when people put so much emphas on being "isolated ".but the most important thing is to conserve and preserve our own culture instead of avoiding the coming of western ones.
one reason is it's in vain another is making ourselves stronger is the best way to defeat enemy if you label them as intruders .

In recent years, tremendous development in world economy has inaugurated an era of globalisation. China, a burgeoning Eastern country, has been unavoidably affected by the globalisation. The influx of exotic cultures is an obvious instance.
Initially, in this picture, we can see that multitudinous people are roaming the street where many shops are situated. The placards hung in front of the store read "discount for Valentine."
Whether this phenomenon benefits or impairs our society has been in deep controversy. On one hand, that Western festivals become popular in China can deepen people's understanding of foreign countries. Besides, Western cultures enrich people's choices of entertainments and in the meantime, broaden their horizons. However, on the other hand, the more and more Western festivals in vogue can threaten the survial of China local cultures. People may gradually lose their interests in their traditional cultures and become entirely captivated by Western cultures.
In conclusion, I think such phenomenon is inevtiably an outcome of Chinese economic development. Nevertheless, it is still a double-edged sword that may possibly strangle our local culture. So, to promote the importance of our traditional cultures and encourage people to cherish their own festivals.
