reach, arrive, come, get to 这四个词语都有“到达”的意思，但用法不同。１、 reach和arrive都是比较正式的用法，都可以表示到达某地。reach是及物动词，可直接跟宾语，而arrive是不及物动词，不能直接跟宾语，后面要跟介词in或。arrive in指到达较大的地方或较长久居住的地方，或目的地了；arrive at指到达较小的地方或到达时间。例如：What time shall we arrived in Beijing? 我们什么时候到达北京？They arrived at the railway station at twelve last night. 他们昨晚十二时到达火车站。How can I reach the station? 我怎样才能到达车站？２、 表示到达某一年龄或高度的时候，一般用reach，不用arrive。如：He has reached seventy. 他已经七十岁了。The book is too high.
