就是将两个句子合并成含定语从句的复合句.
如：I hatethose people. They talk much but do little.

当它在该定语从句中充当主语成分时，就是主语。如：
I have a book which is about animals. 该句中的which是修饰book的，你把它换成book后放到从句中，就变成了the book is about animals.这样你就可以判断出它就是从句的主语。
宾语也是一样。如：
This is the gift which my father gave to me. which修饰gift，= my father gave the gift to me. 所以which是gave的宾语。

你要填的关系代词如果后面已经有了we,they
,he,she这样的词作主语了，你填的就肯定不是主语，如果关系代词后面跟的是动词（如lives，worked，visited等，这些词都是作谓语的）你填的就是主语了。
如：this

week.（that作宾语，因为其后有主语we。）
this
is
the
fatory
that
produces
cars.(that在从句中作主语，因为其后是谓语动词produces，没有we，it，he等这样的作主语的词）
