Abstract: brand is the most important intangible chromatography, has become an important weapon in the competition. Since China's accession to the WTO, China enterprises are faced with the international competition. The increasingly fierce competition in the market, products and high homogeneity, under the situation of Chinese enterprise pay more and more attention to the brand. However, many domestic enterprises in using brand strategy is but a lot of problems have arisen, one of the problems is the brand strategy by mistake. This article focuses on the Chinese enterprise brand extension of assets, the brand extends current problems, brand strategy, the three aspects of advice on how to China's enterprises brand extends problems are preliminarily discussed.

As one of the most important intangible assets, brand has become a vital weapon for a company to engage in competition. Chinese businesses are fighting with competition from international counterparts even within the country. With competition getting tenser and tenser, and products becoming more and more homogenous, the power of brand has gained more and more attention from Chinese businesses. Nevertheless, Chinese businesses made a series of mistakes in applying brand strategies, one of which is the wrong application of brand extension strategy. Focusing on the asset status, existing problems and suggestions about the brand extension strategies applied in Chinese businesses, this article tries to make a brief probe on how to apply the strategy in domestic businesses.
