也会你会想说用驱动精灵、驱动人生直接智能安装驱动就行了，当然这可以，有种例外的情况就是网卡驱动没装上，而报修人主板驱动光盘又丢失了，这两种方法就不能用了。在系统设备管理一般看不到设备的型号，不知道型号就不知道怎么去找相应设备的驱动。所以 Unknown Device Identifier 的作用就在于此了。
