I'm very glad to stand here today to say something about my first year in the college. I can still remember last summer holiday, which was the first time for me to come to the school, I was so disappointed then because it was not only faraway but also small, the beginning of my college life was so bored that I had nothing to do every day, I didn't feel very comfortable in a new situation, then you can imagine what my study was like at first, it was totally different from that in senior high school.
I found that very few students could prefer to spend time on study; there wasn't the atmosphere of studying at all. However after some time I found that the class was such an active one that everyone seemed excellent, I also admired some of my classmates, the whole class was just like a big family we were all brothers and sisters.
Now most of students spend more time on study. I was so lazy a person that I haven’t put my heart in study before. I always went to the net bar, but from now on I decided to study hard, especially on English.
I believe that everyone can keep on trying hard to know more knowledge. Then we will make our dreams come true.
There comes our final examination in only a month. I’m sure of making wonderful achievement. And I hope we will all pass the CET4 and CET6 next term.
I feel so pretty that I have a chance to enter the class, I’m so happy to know every one of you. That’s my greatest luck. Thank you very much.

Glad to stand here today.I want to talk about my feelings during the past year.
I remember I felt somehow disappointed to our school the first day when I came here last summer holiday. It was so small so far away from downtown area.
I could not adapt the new environment at first, always felt too much dull and had nothing to do, not to mention study, in a word, totally different from lives in senior school.
I found most classmates spent little time on study, and I could not feel any study atmosphere at all.
However, through one year time, I found we are in a class with full vigor and everyone is excellent and acted as a big family.
Now we spend more time on study, though I am lazy and nearly spent no time on study and only travelling on Internet, I know now I should study hard especially in English.
I am sure that everyone will go on and learn more knowledge in the future.
By the way, I believe we will get good results in the terminal examination next month. And hope we will all pass the CET4 and CET6 next term.
I feel honorable being a member of our class and happy to know everyone.
