Working abroad allows you to experience life in a foreign culture – and get paid. Countries such as Australia, New Zealand and the United States give visas to short-term workers. Many employers, including hotels, farms and parks, need seasonal workers during busy periods. In New Zealand, apples, kiwis, persimmons and other fruits are harvested only for short periods of time. Due to New Zealand's low unemployment rate, employers need to hire people from overseas for harvests.

Each summer Xanterra hires over 3,000 people to work in Yellowstone. The employees, who come from almost every continent, can enjoy many outdoor activities in their free time.
