have got 与 have 作为“有”时可互换。如果have作为助动词时（现在完成时态）或其它意义的行为动词时不能与have got 互换。
如：
1.I have got a book .
=I have a book.
我有一本书。
2. I have finished my homework .(此句中的have不能用 have got代替）
我完成作业了。
3. We are having a Chinese lesson.(此句中的have不能用 have got代替）
我们正在上语文课。
4. Let me have a look at your new watch .(此句中的have不能用 have got代替）

I have got a pen=I have a pen.

have got to(不得不）=have to:

We have got to stay here = We have to stay here.

但在下列情况下不能用have got来代替have：

在情态动词，助动词或动词不定式之后,只能用have,不用have got。如：

May I have some more water?    

        Would you like to have another apple?    

  2. 在过去时、完成时或完成进行时中，不用 have got, 而用have。如：     

        Mary had a question to ask. 

        I have had the car for three years.  

        They have been waiting for you.  

   3. 固定短语中不用have got。如：
