故，creeping cynicism 可以理解为“慢慢滋长的愤懑”

结合前一段话的其中一句，更好理解：

“降低目标”不算犬儒主义。“犬儒主义”是古希腊时候的一个哲学团体的信仰，现在基本不用这一层意思了。

不客气...有些地方可能有误解，楼上(下)的回答其实也很有值得参考的地方

creeping 在下用了口语译法，即
You're creeping me out! 你吓死我啦! 中的creeping，而楼上(下)选用了直译

像cynicism也有愤世嫉俗的意思，但个人来说根据下文，似乎玩世不恭(即事事不认真，无所谓)贴近些..
