Harry escaped unscathed except for a lightning shaped scar on his forehead. Harry is brave, quick witted and kind, with a little disregard for rules. He's a little meddlesome, breaking all sorts of rules while attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, but that's how he has been able to defeat Voldemort's many attempts to regain power. After Voldemort finally came back, Harry fought against him in many ways, alongside his friends and the Order of Phoenix. Then there's the loyal Ron and intelligent Hermione; also, we have the extremly funny Weasley twins, wise and calm Dumbledore, brave and kind Hagrid, stern Professor McGonagall, narrow and Harry-hating Snape (truth is, Snape had always secretly protected Harry, only letting him know with his dying breath), the adorable house-elf Dobby, and of course the evil Lord Voldemort. So many unique and well defined characters, such absorbing storytelling, how can anyone not like it?
But the most fascinating part of Harry Potter is the fantastical world of magic full of fantastic things. This hidden world has wizards and magic, a Ministry of Magic, a Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the wizarding prison Azkaban, an exhiliarating magical sport konwn as Quidditch, the horrific prison guards known as Dementors, towering giants, strange Thestrals and countless other magical beings, as well as dazzling magical objects.
