想知道这个开头的to是什么用法代表什么…然后to能不能去掉直接写take？

to是不定式符号，不能去掉，因为逗号分开的两个部分不能是两个简单句，如果前面去掉to就是句子既祈使句，不符合句子构成特点，所以前面用了不定式做后面句子的状语。
