不可数名词，但是有时也有复数形式，用法和fruit一样。表示不同的种类的。

shade 复数： shades
shadow 复数： shadows

例如：
They belong to different shades of blue.
它们属于蓝色里的不同色调。

The shadows slowly merge together.
这些阴影慢慢地合在一起了。

都是不可数名词一般前面可以用英语里的量词 A flood of shadow/shade 表示一片阴影
