有能力做某事的英文：be able to do something、equalified to do something、be qualified for something、Be competent in + 名词/动名词、be equal to。
一、be able to do something，这是最最常用的表达法了，表示有能力，能够做某事
1、I’m afraid I won’t be able to make our date tonight.
恐怕今晚我不能来赴约了。
2、This complaint is too complicated; I don’t see I’m able to handle it.
这个投诉太复杂，我觉得自己没有能力来处理它。
二、be qualified to do something有资格（有能力）胜任或做某事
1、She is highly qualified to be an English teacher.
