on the way to 是在去XXX的路上,不指明某一个人。
比如说On the way to school,I saw a dog.这里的I换成是别的人称也可以。on one's way to是某人在去XXX的路上,句子一定要前后对应,比如On my way to school,I saw a dog.这里I就不可以换成别的人称了。
（1）He's on his way to Beijing.（他在去往北京的路上。）从出发地到北京，可以看作是一条路线，属于“线状”的空间。线用on和along，on是在路上，along是沿着路，所以此处用on。
