7.19(1)一个小问题我查语法书也不明白

我在书上看见一句话
i found this book interesting
我一看到这句话首先想到这是一个宾语从句,i found that...
那么是不是应该i found that this book is interesting,that可省略
请问我的想法哪里不对了???
