On behalf of 一般是接个名词或者名词性短语放到句子中做状语来修饰整个一句话，就拿下面这位仁兄的这个例句来说一下：

I thank you就是一个完整的一个句子，而On behalf of my colleagues and myself 前面的一整句都是拿来修饰I thank you的。其实，这句话我觉得用I'll thank you更好。否则可以这么说On behalf of my colleagues and myself, thank you.也可以，我复制的这句“On behalf of my colleagues and myself I thank you.”不知道为什么，读起来总是怪怪的，感觉不自然。语法是没错，但是口语化更重要，我觉得。
